Inspiration

Posted in Links at 4:21 pm by Sarah

Is something I need right now. I’m in a post-Christmas creative slump… plus I don’t really have the motivation to tackle the crazy higgledy piggledy pile that is my sewing corner.

Here’s some I found…

Guitar Bag      I don’t think a guy could pull it off… so perhaps for a guitar-happy girl?

Tossed and Found    A regular article in New York Magazine, reviving junk they found on the street.

Free Clothes Patterns  … and some more

How to Crochet a Daisy Chain   … have to do this one day…

The Shopping Bag bag    I love this idea.. I’ve already made a couple of bags this way… but perfect seam-hiding is still inspiring!

Amy Butler is very cool.. she makes me want to make quilts and pillows…

A blog all about bags… what could be better?

I want to make these boxed letter cushions for everyone I know. With the appropriate letter of course :) .

A computer program that can create patterns for stuffed toys… sounds ideal. I wonder if it works.

Martha Stewart    a bit of good old housewifely fun :)

Wow … thanks for those links! Makes me wish I could sew … but I really don’t need yet another obsession!
